Lovely hosts, very welcoming and more than happy to help with places to visit, great hospitality, the buttery is gorgeous and very clean. The grounds are breathtaking and the area is quite central from coasts either side. Highly recommend we would return here. Perfect getaway for our honeymoon
Spur of the moment, random decision to spend a weekend in Cornwall lead my wife and I to book 2 nights here at Trussell Barn Bed & Breakfast. When entering the driveway, turn immediately to the left for the b&b, and you will save yourself the only problem you could have while staying here. Nigel and Richard are the most affable hosts one could wish for. The room was scrupulously clean, and comfortable. The peace was deafening, and the bed (in the Garden room) was incredibly comfortable. Parking within the guest covered car port is lit for late arrivals like us, and made us feel welcome amd home before we'd even met them. We were made to feel so welcome. And Molly and Bertie (the dogs) were so sweet (Bertie is so proud of his shoes). Looking forward to the next visit (if they'll have us).
What a fantastic welcome in a beautiful setting. Richard and Nigel made every effort to make our visit hugely enjoyable. Great breakfasts, very comfortable rooms, friendly dogs (Bertie & Molly) and just a short walk from St. Keyne Wishing Well Halt Station, perfect for a day out by train to Looe! Our family birthday weekend was made very memorable, Nigel even baking a super cake. Thank you chaps!
